Most of the decisions regarding money and timing are made during the Planning Phase; therefore, it should not be minimized or taken lightly.  Owners who skip or shortcut this process pay for it many times over as the project progresses.  Generating a clear project direction, budget, and schedule before proceeding is necessary to avoid costly mistakes and delays.

Project Planning: Effective planning is vitally important to the successful outcome of every project.  It offers a roadmap that identifies the timing of all construction activities and defines the project approach and services from initial concept through the finalized contract. This roadmap helps owners continually understand and visualize how their project is progressing through the process.

Defining goals, responsibilities and schedules at every step of the construction process – from planning through occupancy – creates the stability that is needed for a successful project. We believe clear project plans and open lines of communication provide a strong foundation for a positive working relationship.  Therefore, we prepare a construction schedule, integrating activities such as team coordination meetings, milestone delivery dates, cost estimates, owner approvals and various subcontractors into one record.

This construction schedule is updated and used as a tool, to ensure the scheduling and expediting of material and equipment deliveries.  Pro-Side also schedules periodic meetings onsite to provide updated information.  Keeping all parties of the project on schedule will help you visualize your goals.
